T-Minus 24 Days…

Wednesday, 31 August 2011 16:25

It’s all happening soon.

Here’s what you need to know before it all goes down.

* The Early Bird Ticket prices will continue to be available on-line until Friday the 9th of September. Online Pre-booking will still be available until Wednesday 22nd September.

* The Meet and Greet will be taking place at Lanigans, starting at 8 O Clock. Lanigan’s also has a hostel, if you don’t feel like walking too far after the pub.

* The front desk will be open from 10am, Saturday 24th in the Kilkenny Ormonde Hotel. The hotel bar, mere feet from the front desk, will be open only two short hours thereafter.

We look forward to seeing you all there (and tell your friends!)

RPG Submission Guidelines

Thursday, 18 November 2010 10:21

Below you will find the submission guidelines for submitting an RPG to Conspiracy 2011. Unfortunately we cannot accept any further LARP submissions. Please do read these guidelines, if you plan to submit a game.

Please submit your game to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . The following file formats are acceptable,

Word, Rich Text Format, PDF, HTML,

All images must be submitted embedded in these above file formats (no weird file formats as we want to be able to print your submission as you wrote it).

The initial submission: (What we need.)

1. A Blurb of your game.

Try to aim for about 80 words (max 100). Try to not be too vague, people like to read blurbs with a brief plot synopsis and that give general feel of the genre of your game.

 2. Game System and Setting

If your game has an established Setting what is it? If you have an established Game System, what is it?

 3. Contact Details.

Name, email address and phone number.

 4. GM required?

If there is need of another table of your game can you suggest another individual to GM that table? Do you need us to find a GM for you, if so remember it’s easier to find GMs for certain systems (if it’s homebrew we’ll be less able to find a spare head)

5. Player Count

RPGs should be pitched for 5 players, but if you feel you need more or less let us know and we’ll see if we can accommodate.

6. Game length

Our RPG slots are 3 hours long as standard, but if you want to run a marathon or a very fast game, we can see what we can do if you let us know well in advance.

The Final Submission:

The deadline for receipt of final game submission is the 1st September. We strongly urge you to get your RPG in at before that point, but if you are lagging behind do contact our RPG coordinator This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it (he won’t bite your head off).

What we need from you with your final submission:

 Character Sheets,

For each player is a big one.

 Plot in Brief,

So that other GMs can quickly get a handle on what’s going on.

The body of the game.

Whether this is your traditional beginning middle and end, your sandbox style game or something odd with time travel. This is the main content of your game. This should not be three pages long and written on a takeaway snack box.

Any handouts,

If you mention handouts include them.

 Any special requirements,

Sound, lighting, back rub, etc… We can’t guarantee that you’ll get what you want here, but it’s always worth asking.
