With the return of the Warhammer 40,000 and Fantasy tournaments, War Games is gearing up for another year! Gaelcon will also be hosting a WarMachine and Hordes tournament alongside our open play Figure Games, such as the Battle of Endor (v2.0).

Gaelcon has always been known to have some fantastic Special Events like last year’s Live Action Space Hulk. For this year we plan on holding a unique Blood Bowl tournament and many more interesting and unique games.

This year we'll have a boardgames desk with a selection of games available to borrow subject to a deposit. For the serious boardgamers out there we're running a challenge where points can be scored for playing games with a winner at the end of the convention.

Writer's Award
For our RPG writers, we will once again be running our Writers Award. Entry to the Writers Award is only applicable to those scenarios accepted by Gaelcon and which are completed and submitted before the 30th of September. Our Roleplaying Games Coordinators will be the judges and their decision is final.
