What Gaming is NOT

There have been many misconceptions about gaming in the past, ranging from accusations of devil-worshipping from some of the more...misguided...Christian sects, to people thinking of it in terms of sexual roleplay. Neither of these could be further from the truth. Roleplaying is merely a social pastime, based on storytelling and imagining yourself as a character within the story.

All the types of gaming available have no hidden agendas, weird subversive plots or bizarre religious rituals.

Gaming, in the context we are using, does not include gambling, though we do use a lot of dice and cards. That said, Vegas might be a lot more interesting if Blackjack included Yu Gi Oh cards and if the Craps table used D20's!

Gaming is a very safe pastime and has very strict rules for combat scenarios.

In a nutshell, gamers are normal, everyday people from all walks of life, who get together to share their imaginations in a safe social environment.
